Jedward on Bravo Magazine!

"Our parents are annoying!"

Does that sound familiar? You come home from school. Classes were exhausting, your teachers gave you a lot of homework and you are glad that your schoolday is finally over. But not the TV or the couch are waiting for you... instead you have to study for hours.

That's what John and Edward Grimes (both 19) had to go through because their Mum Susanna came up with something special.

"If we got bad marks we had to do extra homework", says Edward. John adds: "She's an english and history teacher and she knew what she was doing. That's why she prepared homework for us. While we had to do it she went jogging. And when she was back we had to be done."

Gosh!

No surprise that the crazy boys are happy to be done with school.

But if you thought that their parents are now leaving the 19-year-olds alone you're mistaken.

The identical twins still live in Dublin/Ireland with their family and still have to follow a lot of rules.

Jedward confess that they still have to ask their parents for money!

"We get 20 euros per week - together! That's not fair because our big brother Kevin gets the same amount."

And it gets worse: "If we didn't tidy up our room we aren't allowed to leave the house", complains John.

"That's especially hard for me because I'm so messy and drop my clothes were I stand", says Edward.

Besides that they always have to put the rubbish out and wash the dishes. But both of them are already of age and mega stars.

So they could decide for themselves, right? False! When the singers are on the road they always get control calls and textmessages from their parents.

"When we were in New York for 3 days our mother gave us at least 10 adresses and numbers of doctors and hospitals. She also calls six times a day to see if everything's alright", moans Edward.

John winks: "It happens that we just turn off our phone."

But Mum and Dad Grimes can be even more annoying. Because even when it comes to their own style the irish boys have to struggle with their parents.

"Sometimes they think our style is too crazy. Once our mother even dragged us to the hairdresser and wanted us to get our hair cut. But we refused. Besides that she thinks our red glitter suits are horrible. She wanted us to wear boring grey shirts. But we don't let her decide!"

Even when it comes to love Mum Grimes tries to barge in.

Edward grins: "Everytime she sees a pretty girl she tries to pair her up with me. She even asks our friends if they know nice girls we would like."

Sounds stressful but the twins really love their family.

That's why they react badly to rumours on the internet saying their parents are divorced.

"Never!", the pop twins say.

"They say we live with our Mum 30 kilometres away from our Dad. The truth is that we have two houses and live in both with our parents. They are both in love like on day 1."

And the boys are glad that they always can come home.

"We love it to come home but we also could imagine moving out sometime."

Great idea, boys. Your parents will be happy, too. Because then they can visit you...
